The watch app

The StairSprint Connect IQ app records your stair workouts (lap times, stair counts, heart rate, GPS start position) into a standard FIT activity file on your watch — the same way any Garmin activity is recorded. The app itself sends nothing anywhere: your data syncs through your own Garmin Connect account like every other workout.

The website

If you create a StairSprint account you can import those workouts (or log climbs by hand). We store: your email, display name, bodyweight (if you enter it — used only to compute W/kg), your sessions, and any staircases you add.

What's visible to others: only what you publish. Staircases are private until you add them to the map (published pins are shown at street level, not your exact spot). Leaderboards show your display name, climb times and W/kg — never the time of day you train, your email, or your weight. Your profile can be made private in one tap, and private staircases never appear to anyone else.

Garmin linking is optional. If you link your Garmin account we store only a revocable session token — never your Garmin password.

No ads, no analytics trackers, no selling data. Delete your account any time — self-service, immediate, and everything goes with it.
